Good morning, afternoon, or evening!

First things first, I'm back! I took a couple months (9 to be exact) off from continuing my blog as I was feeling a bit of writer's block. In a world that is constantly throwing fashion, travel, and advice articles in your face, every day...it started feeling like I couldn't stand out. It's also hard to compete with someone that can afford a Chanel Bag, while I'm struggling to pay rent.

Then I set myself a challenge in January. Starting on January 1st, and (almost) every day following, I posted a resolution of what I wanted to accomplish in 2017. Definitely a harder challenge then I thought, as I work full time and some days I don't have the time to think of a post. Sooo the power of scheduling ahead definitely was used. BUT if you were truly following along you may have noticed I scheduled a Resolution 26 twice, yes twice...and to be even more honest, I didn't even notice until writing this article. Instead of beating myself up, I laughed it off and had a glass of wine while deleting the post. ;)

As I celebrated my birthday a little over a month ago I woke up that Thursday, after my birthday, morning hitting myself (not literally of course) as to why another year had passed and yet my blog, something I really want to work on, isn't further along than I had hoped. So today is the day that I have published my first article in 9 months, and will continue to publish on a more consistent basis in the hopes that my ideas are heard and I can inspire others to take charge of their lives.

Okay, back to my January resolutions challenge. Essentially the challenge was for me to post a resolution each day so I would actually follow them and hopefully inspire others to follow their own resolutions they set for 2017. During the challenge and even after the challenge I received multiple positive messages from friends and family. I couldn't believe that 1) People were actually following my challenge and 2) that my challenge was actually inspiring people to follow their own resolutions. The messages I received inspired me to further want to pursue blogging and get my ideas on pen and paper (and then transferred to my website).

What are your resolutions for 2017? Need some inspiration? Check out my resolution challenge below and what I posted each day. Comments are always appreciated so don't hesitate to leave a message below.
